About the Speaker

Prof. Dr. Katharina Zweig heads the Socioinformatics program at TU Kaiserslautern, which is unique in Germany, and is also head of the Algorithm Accountability Lab. For more than 20 years, she has been researching when to rely on computer results and advises industry, politics and society on this. She became a bestselling author in 2019 with her book "An Algorithm Has No Tact"; her latest book "The AI Did It" will be published in September 2023. Zweig's startup, Trusted AI GmbH helps develop and deploy trustworthy AI.
