About the Speaker

Oliver Weimann is co-founder and CEO of Scale Now GmbH, a venture builder based in Essen and Berlin. The entrepreneur, who grew up in Essen, has been an active driver of the German start-up scene for over 15 years, initiated ruhrSUMMIT and was founding CEO of the ruhrHUB in Essen. This makes him one of the central figures of the start-up scene in North Rhine-Westphalia. His current focus is on the Quantum Cybersecurity Group. This company develops security solutions for the age of quantum computers and protects critical infrastructures such as energy and water. As CEO, Oliver Weimann is responsible for partnerships with NATO and the NEOM project, among others.
