Nicole Büttner

Nicole Büttner is a tech optimist, an AI entrepreneur, investor and supervisory board member. She is founder and CEO of Merantix Momentum, an IT company specialising in artificial intelligence. Additionally, she is a manager at Merantix AG, an AI venture studio that incubates AI companies and has been named one of the top 10 AI start-ups several times by Forbes and Bilanz. She moreover lectures and teaches regularly at the University of St Gallen and other universities.

In her role as entrepreneur, Büttner was named Digital Leader of Europe by the World Economic Forum, and in Capital magazine she was twice among the ‘Top 40 Under 40’. She assists start-ups, SMEs and corporations in creating value and transforming business models with the help of AI. In addition, she focuses on the impa ct of technology on society and companies, for which she was named Young Leader by the Aspen Institute France in 2018.
