Dr Nicolas Flores-Herr is Team Leader Conversational AI at the Fraunhofer Institute for Intelligent Analysis and Information Systems at the Dresden site. There, conversational Al and knowledge graph solutions for companies are developed based on large AI language models – intelligent dialogue systems of the next generation. He also leads the OpenGPT-X research project to develop a large AI language model for Europe. As Head of Business Area Document Analytics he leads a team of AI researchers, ML engineers and software developers. Their focus is on information extraction from scanned business documents using Deep Learning and NLP approaches – from pixel to knowledge.
