Dr. Thomas Lange

Dr Thomas Lange has been working for many years at the intersection of private capital, science and political consulting on innovation and future-related issues. He was an economist at the ifo Institute for Economic Research, served as Head of Department at the National Academy of Science and Engineering, and as Chief Strategy Officer for the establishment of a national innovation agency modelled after the American DARPA. He is a Sherpa for the Future Council of the Federal Chancellor and a member of the World Economic Forum’s Expert Network. At Achleitner Ventures, Dr Thomas Lange invests in technology start-ups, among other projects. He holds a PhD in economics and is a Certified Private Equity Analyst.
