Birgit Bohle

Birgit Bohle took up the post of Chief Human Resources Officer and Labor Director of Deutsche Telekom AG effective January 1, 2019. From January 1, 2020, she is also responsible for legal affairs. 

Bohle began her professional career in 1992 with an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk at chemicals giant BASF. She then studied Economics at the Otto Beisheim School of Management in Vallendar near Koblenz, at ESC Nice, and at the University of Texas at Austin, and specialized in marketing, controlling, and finance. After completing her studies, she initially worked for Bertelsmann AG before joining the McKinsey group in Frankfurt am Main in the year 2000. She worked for a large number of clients and was Associate Principal in the European Transport & Logistics management team.
