Fridtjof Detzner

Fridtjof Detzner founded his first company at the age of 16. Eight years later, it became Jimdo, a website builder that has enabled over 25 million people to create their own websites. In 2017, Detzner filmed a ten-part TV documentary with Deutsche Welle. The idea: travel for 120 days through 10 Asian countries and choose one of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals – for Detzner a live change event, after which he decided to invest his time and resources exclusively in startups that he believes work much better than the current economy.

Together with like-minded people, he founded Planet A Ventures in 2020, which provides venture capital to scientists and founders to work on an economy within planetary boundaries.
