About this session
"Build Up Eye" digitizes the previously analogue contour check in air freight: LiDAR sensors and AI vision measure pallets three-dimensionally, check contour limits live and visualize deviations at the workstation - for more efficient utilization and fewer errors during build-up. Employees place a virtual template over the pallet image and the system marks deviations so that corrections can be made immediately. The system is operated via mobile communications: secure remote maintenance, feature rollouts and rapid scaling at other locations, currently productive at Frankfurt Airport. The project was developed in close cooperation between FIEGE Air Cargo Logistics and Telekom MMS - as an end-to-end solution for measurable operational impact.
