Ulrike Attenberger

Ulrike Attenberger is regarded a thought leader for digitalization and AI in the healthcare sector. She initiated and managed the "Innovative Secure Medical Campus" project, which was funded with 17.5 million euros by the state of North Rhine-Westphalia (by MWIDE) and established itself as the KI.NRW flagship. She also launched the EU-funded "AIPOD" project to develop a new AI-based risk score for preventing cardiovascular events in obese patients. On the scientific advisory board of the German “Bundesärztekammer” (German Medical Association), she heads the "AI in Medicine" working group. On 15 July 2024, Ulrike became Professor of Radiology at MedUni Vienna, one of the world's leading research institutions.
