About the Speaker

Björn Ulvaeus, one of the founding members of ABBA, started his musical career in the mid-sixties. Björn is one of the world’s most successful musicians, songwriters and music producers. From 1972 and a decade onwards Björn was occupied by his work with ABBA. In 1983 he and Benny Andersson began to write the musical Chess together with lyricist Tim Rice. In 1999 they produced Mamma Mia!, the first jukebox musical. From that point on Björn Ulvaeus was involved in many pro-ductions the world over. In 2021, ABBA announced the release of their first album in 40 years, as well as a virtual stage show “Voyage” which opened in a new custom-built arena in London in 2022.
