Annika von Mutius

Dr Annika von Mutius is co-founder and co-CEO of the HR tech start-up EMPION. She studied at WHU, gained a doctorate in mathematics and worked for a robotics start-up in Silicon Valley before founding EMPION. She was recently included in the ‘Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe’ list, is one of the ‘Top 40 Under 40’ according to the magazine ‘Capital’ and ranked among the 15 most important AI pioneers in Germany according to Manager Magazin. With EMPION, she developed the first AI-based and automated headhunting system, matching applicants and companies based on values, skills and personality characteristics.
