Anja Wenmakers

Anja Wenmakers is Managing Director of the transport division of Stadtwerke Bonn since 2017. She contributes her hands-on expertise as a board member of the Academy of the Association of German Transport Companies (VDV). She is known in the industry for her concise statements in favor of a uniform local transport tariff across Germany. She repeatedly calls for joint investments in the public transport infrastructure. Anja is also the ‘Ambassador for Germany” on the Policy Board of the strategically important International Association of Public Transport (UITP) and a representative on the human resources committee.
